Sotheby’s London is hosting a major fundraising auction on February 12 in support of the “1 in 11” campaign to extend educational opportunities to marginalised children in Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal.“1 in 11” is a partnership between the FC Barcelona Foundation, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), and UNICEF.The auction features donated works by an impressive list of renowned artists including Damien Hirst, Yan Pei-Ming, Jeff Koons, Richard Serra, Shirin Neshat, and Takashi Murakami, who also designed the campaign logo.Both Murakami and Hirst have created specially commissioned works featuring Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona player, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and President of the Lionel Messi Foundation.
