Lots destined for the block include Zhang Daqian’s undated Summer on California Mountain, estimated at $HK18 million–28 million ($2.3–3.6 million); a 7th-century white glazed elephant candlestand with an estimate of $HK5 million–8 million ($625,000–1 million); and Wu Guanzhong’s The Yulong Mountains After Rain, 1996, expected to fetch $HK10 million–15 million ($1.3–1.9 million). Other highlights are Yayoi Kusama’s Sex Obsession C, 1992, estimated at $HK9 million–12 million ($1.2–1.5 million) and Liu Wei’s Bathing Beauty iii, 1994, estimated at $HK15 million–22 million ($1.9–2.8 million).
