The collection mainly consists of Indian miniature of Mughal masters along with fine paintings from Rajasthani, Pahari and Company Schools. The works are in surprisingly good condition, due to the immense care bestowed upon them by their former owners and the technical care that went into the works by the artists. The highlights include an album page featuring a Northern Goshawk attributed to Mihr Chand with Shah Jahan period floral borders, dated to approximately 1770; the Study of a Stork eating a Snail signed by Shaykh Zayn al-Din, from the celebrated ‘Impey Album’ and many more.
