Cementing her status as a modern muse and supermodel among supermodels, Kate Moss is the subject of an upcoming Christie's auction in London, "A Celebration of Kate Moss."
Here, she poses for photographers at Christie's in advance of the exclusive collection. The sale, curated by art collector Gert Elfering, will showcase photographs, paintings, sculptures, collages and one tapestry featuring Kate the Great. Contributing artists include Mario Testino, Nick Knight, and Juergen Teller.
Some works, such as Allen Jones’ "Body Armour," which sees Moss covered in gold, were commissioned for the sale. Other images are high-quality prints of some of Moss's most iconic photo shoots, for example Calvin Klein’s Obsession perfume campaign of 1993.
The private auction will be held September 25, 2013 (public viewing is September 21 - 24), Christie's, 8 King Street, St. James's, London.
